Most brides in Egypt nowadays are pretty much breaking the norm. I often meet brides who do not want the traditional “kosha” neither do they even want a “zaffa”(regardless of how many times their mothers and mothers-in-law stress on how much of a tradition they are). Many couples now prefer to have an outdoor wedding; some might want a beach wedding (that is if the whether permits), and others seek a morning garden wedding. In any case, just as long as a wedding isn’t constructed in a closed hotel hall, rustic decoration rules all! It is chic, cheap and pretty much as resilient as could be!
1. Lanterns
Whether in an entrance, hanging, or on the tables as centerpieces, lanterns are always a great choice for a chic, rustic ambiance.
2. Mason Jars
Mason jars are also a great addition to any rustic-themed wedding. Jars could also be used as simple centerpieces for the young adults’ high-tables. They are simple and do not take much space which is exactly what we need for such small tables.
3. Entrance and Guest Directions
Amongย the little things that give a rustic wedding a great edge are a beautiful entrance, some amazing wooden directions for the guests to follow, maybe even some wooden frames of the betrothed couple.
4. Rusticย Buffet (A Personal Favorite!)
Wooden barrels are a MUST in a rustic wedding. Though they may be a little hard to find but a good carpenter can always get the job done! My personal favorite for a rustic wedding buffet is a popcorn and/or ice-cream bar…LOVE!
5. Colorful Table Wrapsย
Some people make their lives easier by just using the white cloth that comes with the tables. I, personally, don’t! I believe a little extra color can be a sensational addition to the wedding party. Depending on the theme color of the wedding, you can play with the table wraps. For those who loveย white, go with a cream color. It gives a rather exceptional look!
