girl having breakfast

Breakfast is always one of those daily meals that is really hard not to skip. You’re either running late or too lazy to get out of bed to eat so you just skip it and go for lunch straight away. The thing I’m pretty sure you’re well aware of is that breakfast is considered one of the most important meals of the day, and since most of us are reluctant to fix it, here are 5 quick and easy breakfast ideas that hardly require any preparation time and can be grabbed on-the-go:

1. Two-ingredient Pancakes:

Breakfast Pancakes

  • 1 banana, ripe
  • 2 eggs

In a bowl, mash the banana using a fork until it has a smooth consistency. Add the eggs and whisk thoroughly. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt a little bit of butter or vegetable oil. Add 2 tablespoons of the pancakes mix to the skillet, 30 seconds on each side. Now, it’s time to sprinkle it with anything that you desire. I prefer mine with maple syrup and slices of banana.

2. Peanut Butter and Banana Toast:

  • 2 slices whole-wheat toast
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Spread the peanut butter on each slice of the toast, place the banana slices on the peanut butter, put the two slices of bread with peanut butter and banana together, sprinkle the cinnamon on top of each side and press firmly. In a nonstick skillet, melt a little bit of butter or vegetable oil. Fry the toasts 1 minute on each side until golden brown.

3. Hot Corn Flakes with Apples and Nuts:
