You’ve been dating for quite some time and you’ve reached a degree of comfort that’s different from when you first met them. Your feelings for your boyfriend/girlfriend aren’t as intense as before. It’s not that you’re falling out of love with them; it’s just that you’re probably out of the honeymoon phase. There are tell-tales signs that let you know when you’ve reached that point:

1- You’re Really Comfortable With Them

You’re not longer at that point where impressing them is at the forefront of your mind. Now, you’re okay with just hanging out in your t-shirt and sweatpants. You don’t have a need to go out to a fancy romantic restaurant; you’re satisfied with a low-key date night where you stay in and watch t.v.46

2- You’re Okay With Not Spending Time With Them

When you first start out in your relationship, all you want to do is spend every waking moment with this person. As you ease into things and spend more and more of your time together, this feeling subsides and you realize that there is such a thing as “me” time and you’ll want as much of it as you can possibly get!200

3- The End of Seduction

When you first started dating, there was a lot of flirting and physical intimacy. Now, there isn’t as much. This is all due to the level of comfort you both now have. That flame of passion isn’t burning as much as it used to but that’s alright because comfort=convenience!83c90fad425092a620418f31fa268c33

4- Deeper Conversations

The end of the honeymoon phase gives way to deeper conversations and learning more about the person you’re dating. You don’t just talk about light topics; you discuss your childhoods and everything you didn’t get a chance to talk about during the first phase of your relationship.tumblr_n06a73jNV91qgfx04o4_250

5- Fights!

This is an inescapable aspect of leaving the honeymoon phase. You couldn’t agree on everything forever and it had to happen eventually. But as much as we hate to say it, arguments are a means of communication and so if they do occur it’s not necessarily a bad thing!1456441180-tumblr-m3udopeouv1r96fbno1-500-2

6- You Notice Everything

Love is blind, well, at least until the end of the honeymoon phase! Once it’s over, you begin to notice all the little pet peeves you ignored about your partner, whether it’s chewing loudly, blinking too much, mumbling or anything you might have overlooked because you were so love struck with them. What happens afterwards though is that you learn to love them for those little details. 11_reasons_dating_a_writer_is_the_best_thing_ever__2_
