Every billion-dollar industry has its flaws. Even Facebook. While it might not be a technological problem, there are some things I feel that are just annoying. Too annoying. So annoying that I decided to write an article about it…

1- Everyone is watching your every move

The most annoying in my opinion is that everyone can see any picture, any video and any page you like or comment on. What if I want to like pictures of Zac Efron in private, hah? What if I want to tag my best friend? Why does everyone have to know?

What’s the SHARE button for?

2- Being online

You can’t even open the frikin page without everyone seeing you.

3- You have to see what everyone else is liking

There’s always either that one sports fan or that one fangirl who likes at least 30 picture a day of whatever they’re obsessed over. Worst case scenario you’re friends with both 🙂

4- Mentions/ Tags

When someone mentions you in a post, your friends and their friends can see it. It’s like being forced to take off your clothes in front of everyone. And you don’t even know who “everyone” is…

And let’s say someone tagged you in an embarrassing picture? Not only will it be in their feed but anyone who clicks on your profile will see it too.

5- “Friends”

Let’s all just take one big reality check and look at our Facebook “friends”. How many are actually your friends and how many are just people you have a lot of mutual friends with? You have probably once found one or two “friends” where you were like “who the hell are you?”

6- Under-aged people

Kids, do yourself a favor and get the hell out of there. It’s doing you more harm than good.

Well, Facebook! It’s been real, it’s been great! But it hasn’t been real great.
