Summer is the season for all the blockbusters and with the abundance of movies (and really expensive movie tickets), it can get quiteย confusing when choosing which movies to go see. So we rounded up for you some must see movies that look really promising this season.

1. Baby Driver

Starring big stars like Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Fox and John Hamm, this movie seems like a lot of fun. Elgort plays a driver who works for various thugs by being the getaway driver. Sounds simple but the trailer makes it look amazing and pretty different too.

2. Spiderman Homecoming

This is the second reboot for the Spiderman series and the third Spiderman. Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker and we have to say, he wore the Spidey suit best. We had a chance to go watch this movie and were not disappointed! This movie is very close to the comics which left comic fans pretty pleased. Do yourself a favor and go see it!

3. Dunkirk

A war movie based on true events that occurred in World War II. The movie, directed by Christopher Nolan, is about how the allied forces of Belgium,ย the British Empire, Canada and France were evacuated to the city of Dunkirk in order to retreat from the Nazi Germany army forces.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean:ย Dead Men Tell No Tales

Seeing as this is the fifth installment of the Pirates series, many may feel it has goneย on for far too long, but all Jack Sparrow fans can’t wait to see this. We again see how Sparrow managed to anger one of the most ruthless villains yet, played this time by Javier Bardem.

5.ย Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle

After the epic success of the first Kingsman movie, fans can finally rest assured that the second movie in the series will be released this year! Eggsy, played by Taron Egerton, is on a mission that leads him to the US to save the world once again.

6. The Dark Tower

Based on the best selling novels by Stephen King, The Dark Tower shows a young boy who could be the key to saving 2 worlds. Idris Elba stars as the gun wielding superhero trying to defeat the villain surprisingly played by Matthew Mcconaughey. Since this movie is based on a series of books, many are worried it won’t live up to them. The trailer looks promising so we hope it makes King, and his fans, proud.

7. Thor: Ragnarok

The third installment of the Thor series, need we say any more? Thor’s home, Asgard, is under attack and he is taken as a prisoner to fight as a gladiator. Obviously, this looks really good and we can’t wait to see it!

There you have it! We believe these movies will be this summer’s hits. Which ones are you looking forward to seeing?
