Every year, with every Ramadan, new things emerge and dazzle us, but sadly some other things that we used to love and eagerly wait for had also vanished from the scene. This is how life works. Let’s salute 7 things that disappeared from Ramadan, but will always have a special spot in our hearts.
1. El Camera El Khafeyah
Zakeya Zakareya is definitely missed along with all the characters Ibrahim Naser used to put on as a disguise in his prank show. Wouldn’t you love to see Nagaty beynfo5 el balalin 3ashn 3id el milad once again?!
2. Bakar
Even though a new Bakar was aired last year, it’s not the same as the old one directed by Mona Abu Naser. Bakar will always be the first ever created Egyptian cartoon character.
3. One Mosalsal
The fact that the TV series in Ramadan were not such a handful is definitely missed. Now it’s not easy for you and your friends to watch the same series; years ago all everyone cared about was following if El Hag Metwaly would marry once again! Ramadan’s entertainment shows used to create a special bond between us.
4. Hussein 3al Hawa
Though his show was kind of similar to the prank shows that are airing these days, Hussein El Emam still managed to keep things funny without exaggerating or burning anyone on set.
5. Bogy W Tamtam
Every eighties or nineties kid will certainty feel some nostalgia when we mention this show’s name. The world these puppets created for us through Bogy and Tamtam’s neighborhood was our first window to the real life.
6. Fatouta & Samoura
We can never forget Fatouta with his green suits and big black bow tie!
7. Fawzir Nelly & Sherihan
Though this year we saw a new version of those fabulous two stars, we still miss Nelly’s songs, Sherihan’s dance steps and the whole excitement those fawazir added to our lives in Ramadan.
