It’s true the awaited World Cup dream didn’t end well for our beloved Egyptian national team after being on the verge of elimination. Yeah, two consecutive defeats weren’t exactly the best results with all the excitement and high hopes we had.

However, from a brighter perspective, there are some reasons why we shouldn’t be sad after all!

The vibes were great

We lived the fanatical experience we’ve been on the hunt for and everything was suddenly World Cup related. We don’t get the chance to prepare for the World Cup every day!

Lack of experience

It’s our first time witnessing this young generation appear in a major event such as the World Cup. Along with inexperience, they were playing under a massive amount of stress and fear of being eliminated in a blink of an eye. Still they did a great job!

El hakam mortashy!

Yes, we definitely had a chance to win yesterday! But the referee was quite unfair.

Menak lellah ya Ramos!

Mo Salah’s health condition was poor; he was clearly not ready to undertake the tournament after all! He hasn’t fully recovered yet from the injury Ramos did to him.

It’s the first time for 100 million Egyptians to unite together for the same thing

We really miss being united over one single cause. Egyptians couldn’t derive their attention to anything away from the World Cup, waiting for miracles to happen!

The Magdy Abdelghany nightmare is finally over!

This is probably the most blissful thing that ever happened this season. Magdy Abdelghany won’t be able to brag about his only World Cup goal anymore.

Calm down, Salah has stolen the spotlight!

We didn’t expect winning the World Cup after all

True we reached the World Cup, but come on, we all know that winning the World Cup was just too far fetched. We expected elimination sooner or later, consoling enough!

Be that as it may, our team’s appearance was outstanding and enlivened the tournament. You guys made us very proud and don’t forget that after every fall, there’s an unexpected comeback!
