This spring, Christian Louboutin reintroduces his Nudes Collection with a capsule of four additional classic and seasonal shoe styles, each available in his chosen five shades of nude.
Originally launched in Summer 2013 to great acclaim, the spectrum of color in the Nudes Collection ranges from fair (Blush #1) to a rich chestnut (Blush #5), in celebration of every color of skin. Previously available in classic styles including Pigalle and the Simple Pump, the Nudes debut this month in seasonal silhouettes for the very first time.
“Nude is not a color, it’s a concept,” Christian Louboutin explains. By elongating the legs and complementing a woman’s silhouette, a nude pump conveys the fluidity, versatility, and allure of the female body, an ongoing inspiration to Louboutin.
The 2015 collection of Nudes will include two additional classics and much-loved Louboutin styles – Iriza and So Kate – as well as two styles debuting with the S/S 2015 and F/W 2015 collections – Deepik and Dorissima. Deepik flaunts a curved upper and a wavy mirage heel, and is an open-toed take on the popular Dalida. Dorissima – expected to be a favorite – is a single-sole, timeless pump with a heart-shaped toe box and a thin, sky-high heel. The four styles will be available online around the world, including Europe and Asia e-commerce for the first time, and at select flagship Christian Louboutin boutiques.
