Facebook & Instagram filters have become extremely entertaining, from dog filters to floral tiaras, yet rarely have we found a filter that made us go “YES GREEK GODDESS!”. Recently, and during Eid specifically, a new filter took over our social media feed that turned all our friends into literal Greek goddesses.

What is this mysterious filter, and how do you get your hands on it? Here’s what you need to know!

Mountain View Ras El Hikma created the filter to promote their latest phase at Ras El Hikma, Paros, which is inspired by the authentic and traditional Greek spirit that is clearly reflected in their architecture.

The filter was created to celebrate the Greek concept on social media in a very creative and outside-the-box idea. This is the first time we see a brand in Egypt and the region do such a thing – who knew companies can make their own filters to celebrate their inspirations with their fans? And the fact that they used the culture that inspired their architecture in such a creative, yet simple, approach is just the cherry on top!

Taking this filter to Instagram stories was the most efficient way, keeping people engaged during Eid vacation since we were all on our social media platforms posting about our vacations.

The filter activation was the final lap to Mountain View’s summer campaign, having everyone’s favorite influencers snapping a video of themselves with the filter, wearing the Greek crown, and challenging their friends and followers to use it as well and pass along the crown – using the hashtags #passthecrown #MountainViewRasElHikma.
