You might think you had an awesome childhood, playing with your siblings and cousins, traveling with your parents, and spending time with your grandparents. However, like any kid, your best moments were probably those spent in front of the TV screen watching your favorite cartoons. Buckle up people, your innocent childhood is about to take off.

1. Spongebob Squarepants

Aside of the theory going around that Spongebob and Patrick were gay, there were many explicit sexual jokes that you just didn’t get because you were too innocent.

2. Powerpuff Girls

We were told that Powerpuff Girls was a cartoon dedicated solely to present how the good fights the evil and saves the world. Years pass by and we watch that scene again and we have the same reaction Professor Utonium had.

3. The Simpsons

We all know how politically predictive The Simpsons is and there is no need to get into details of how accurate it is. In that scene they took it to a new level. A lot of parents actually don’t let their kids watch the show because of how highly inappropriate it gets.

4. Winnie-The-Pooh

Sorry to ruin your childhood source of happiness, but welcome to life as we know it. Every character on Winnie-The-Pooh suffered from a different mental illness; from OCD to Schizophrenia.

5. The Fairly-Odd Parents

Do I even have to explain? The Fairly-Odd Parents were extremely odd!

6. Johnny Bravo

Yeah, Johnny Bravo called 911 Emergency for having a handsome man in the house, but he didn’t call when there was a poster predicting the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center. This season was aired 5 months prior to the attack on September 11th, 2001.

7. The Lion King

It’s hard to believe that even The Lion King is on this list. Something weird in the air? Well, it’s sex in the air!

As a friend once said, “You are not dirty minded, you just have a sexy imagination.”
