At this young age, Suzanne El Husseiny managed to be a fashion designer with two launched collections. She is a student at Le Lycée Francais du Caire and she took a course in Career Gates then launched her first clothing line; she learnt almost everything she knows through YouTube and designers’ books.
1-How did you start your career as a fashion designer?
I’ve been interested in the industry since I was a little girl. One day, I came first in a designing competition at school and my teacher suggested I should consider fashion as my future career and I did.
2-What do you love most about fashion designing?
I love when I finally finish my collection, start interviewing models and preparing photo-shoots. It makes me feel proudly in control of my life.
3-How many collections have you finished? (and their names)?
2 Collections. La Boheme and Welcome to the 90’s.
4-What are your favourite pieces from your collections? And why?
I think my favourite piece would be the golden kimono jacket because I get so many compliments about how hip and trendy it is.

Alexander McQueen,Givenchy and Balmain
7-When will your next collection come out?
In summer
8-What was last collection inspiration?
It was inspired by my all-time favourite movie,”Clueless”.
9-How do you manage to be a fashion designer and a student at the same time?
I usually work on all the collections during the vacation.
10-Who is your target woman?
I target the creative, artistic, beautiful, and the different soul woman.
11-Who inspired you to be a fashion designer?
My Family and my teacher.
12-Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself in college chasing my dream of becoming the next fashion icon.
