Ever since Galliano’s ouster from the fashion industry, critics have been clamoring to call his return to fashion, especially after he vowed a step by step return to the fashion world.

In 2011, Christain Dior took the move to fire creative director, John Galliano, following an anti Semitic incident that created a media fury storm. Perhaps Dior merely wanted to avoid negative press, or simply stood for the belief that we are all equal. After Galliano was caught on video citing his love for Hitler, and yelling “People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f****** gassed.” at a group of Italians, the fashion house took the decision to let him go.

It seems like Galliano is making his big comeback to fashion, and by big we mean major, because resounding reports are alleging that he is in talks to create a couture line for French-based fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. Sources also reported that he has “already hired five or six staff members for his atelier in Paris”.

Wether or not Galliano makes his big return, he’s got the intentions coursing through his blood, as he told French newspaper Le Point earlier this summer that his love for fashion will never falter.  “I have yet to design my best collection. The new Galliano will be even bigger and better. I love working, it’s my therapy. I can draw until four in the morning every night and not feel tired… I’ve come face to face with my demons, medicine and alcohol. I have rebuilt myself again.”

Despite his fall from grace, Galliano is currently working as creative director for Russian perfumery chain L’Etoile.
