If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few days or hardly go on Twitter, you may have missed the #KimExposedTaylorParty. Shit was on fire in the Twitter world; it was even better than Mean Girls drama. After Kanye’s ‘Famous’ song was released in February, featuring the following lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b- famous”, the Kanye x Swift feud lit up on fire, and Kim K came to his rescue.
Okay, let’s backtrack a little. After the song got released, Taylor spoke out about Kanye’s reference at her Grammy acceptance speech saying: “There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and know that it was you.”
Kanye took to Twitter claiming he got her approval. T continued to deny ever being informed of it, and it only got worse when Kanye released the music video of the song featuring Taylor’s naked wax figure in bed with him and a disturbing number of other naked celebrities.
Things only got really interesting when Kim K snapped video footage of the conversation between Kanye and Taylor before the song’s release – proof that he did ask for her permission. And the Internet was definitely on Kim’s side, throwing shade like it’s sunny.
They commended Kim K for exposing Taylor, who apparently a lot of people were fed up of.
And continued to encourage her, just like our favourite Momager did on her first nude photoshoot.
The meme creators emerged.
And others were just enjoying the party, getting cosy with their popcorn and shit.
And then there was the moment the Internet realised Kim K was basically Regina George. And loved it.

And she’s ruthlessly there for her hubby (whose sanity is still questionable)
But for all of you Taylor fans, she didn’t stay quiet either. She posted a lengthy paragraph addressing the fact that when she gave her approval, she both didn’t get to hear the song AND didn’t know she’d be called “that b-” or that he’d take her success as his own.
Some still didn’t buy it though.
And wanted the entertainment to continue…
But Adele’s reaction is our favourite.
So with a short 3 minute video on Snapchat, Kim Kardashian managed to break the Internet, and didn’t even have to show an obscene amount of skin doing it. Whoever said Kim doesn’t have a talent, I think we just found it.
