This weekend, my friends and I decided to give Gigi Burger Bar a try. I’ve already been there twice, first during their soft opening then on their opening night. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere on both occasions.
First time, my friends who’d already been there before recommended some items on the menu. I ordered pizza, outside their recommendation list, and it was delicious.
My second visit was on their opening night; the place was packed and I wasn’t sure I was going to find any food left!  But I did and it was just as good as the first time .
I knew this place was going to top my list of outings in Cairo. It was not so hard either to convince my friends to “travel” all the way to sheikh Zayed from Tagamo3 , Manial and  Maadi to try it out.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a door bouncer who asked us if we had reservations and we didn’t. The guy calmly apologized for not being able to accommodate us because the place was fully reserved. Well, not going through the negotiation details we managed to get ourselves a table. For appetizers we ordered onion rings, fried chicken strips, tuna tataki “twice” and house fries, a spicy pizza and burger for the main course, and finally the divine nuttella calzone for dessert.

In my point of view this place should top the list of Cairo’s best bars; we had an ‘A+’ experience.
• Food is great ,
• the pub atmosphere is excellent ,
• food service is very good and fast ,
• Beverages service is slow compared to food; there is a general lack of communication between the bartenders and the waiters.
