Morocco has been all over the news recently. Now, for a good reason actually; Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred is breaking the internet!
The 30 year old handsome singer got second place on the Lebanese show, Super Star. With millions of views on Youtube, almost all of his songs were immdetiate hits, but nothing like his latest one, “Lm3allem.”
The song generated over 40 million views since May 2nd 2015, making it the most viewed video by an Arab in a month. The song also won the Murex d’Or award for “Best Arabic Song” of 2015.
Lamjarred’s 2013 hit single, “Mal Hbibi Malou”, also earned more than 70 million views.
Finally some good news for the Arab nation – a singer, who isn’t provocative and could actually sing, is getting international attention!
