Egypt

“You do not have a soul.  You are a soul.  You have a body – George MacDonald”

This young Egyptian man is using his body and soul to accomplish one of his lifelong dreams: exploring Egypt while riding his bike. Nour El Din is a 21 year old Mass Communication student who has always been an adventurous person and one hell of a story teller. And now, he gets to tell the best story of all.

Nour El Din recently began a 6000 km journey to fully explore Egypt by doing his favorite thing, bike riding. He wants to go all over Egypt and document the extensive beauty that Egypt holds. This journey is to let the world know how magical this country is and it’s also for him and for each one of us that takes this country for granted.

Welcome to the adventure of a young man whose wanderlust is taking him all over Egypt:

Nour El Din started his journey by visiting Ismailia and then he continued to Portsaid, Ras El Bar, and Baltim. Then he shifted his trip and began heading to the North Coast where he spent time in Alexandria, El Dabaa, El Hamam, Ras El Hekma, Marsa Matrouh, and Siwa. On each one of his stops he tells the stories of the inspiring people he meets along the way, he takes photos of the stunning scenery and delicious food from the different cities he’s been to.

When asked about what drives him to go on this trip he said “It’s all about passion. You have to follow your passion as far as you can and it’ll take you places. It might take you to a place as far as Siwa or the North Pole, it might take you to the top of Mount Everest or deep into the sea. All I know is that every day I’m meeting new people, I’m making new friends and I couldn’t be happier”

Here are bits and pieces of Nour El Din’s trip so far!
