Whether you’re a new mom, an older sister, or having a slumber party with your girlfriends, this one recipe will never fail you!

Soft, Puffy, Chewy Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, cream egg, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and vanilla.
  2. Add flour, baking soda, and salt mix.
  3. Add chocolate chips gently and gracefully.
  4. Cover mixing bowl with cling wrap and put in fridge for at least two hours prior to baking.
  5. After your dough is chillier, preheat oven to 160C. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
  6. Remove dough from fridge and use ice-cream scoop to create 2.5 inch mounds of dough each 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set but center appears a bit underbaked. Remove from sheet and allow to cool for an additional 10 minutes.
