Whether you’re a new mom, an older sister, or having a slumber party with your girlfriends, this one recipe will never fail you!
Soft, Puffy, Chewy Cookies:
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 3/4 cup of peanut butter
- 1/2 cup of melted butter or margarine
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies
Directions:
- In a large bowl, cream egg, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt mix.
- Add chocolate chips gently and gracefully.
- Cover mixing bowl with cling wrap and put in fridge for at least two hours prior to baking.
- After your dough is chillier, preheat oven to 160C. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
- Remove dough from fridge and use ice-cream scoop to create 2.5 inch mounds of dough each 2 inches apart.
- Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set but center appears a bit underbaked. Remove from sheet and allow to cool for an additional 10 minutes.
