Aware that education is the new channel by which nations maintain economic competitiveness and global prosperity, and understanding the vital role it substantially plays in the personal growth of all-Egyptian citizens in today’s modern competitive world, the presidency has launched a project entitled the ‘Egyptian Knowledge Bank’.

Since the future of technology in education is the cloud, we needed to be armed for this future. Therefore, EKB was set into motion.

It’s a digital library –the biggest so far worldwide- home to the major-league publishing houses around the world such as National Geographic, Discovery Cambridge, Oxford, Reuters, Britannica and others.

It doesn’t only target students, but it is designed in a way that all factions of society with various specializations, interests and ages should benefit from.

Through this library, you can have access to your choice of scientific courses, electronic books, magazines, educational syllabus for schools and universities, databases, browsers, digital libraries for videos and pictures along with computer programs.

It’s no complicated procedure to access the library. All you need is your Egyptian ID to apply through a unified portal, inside the Arab Republic of Egypt, to be used through all computers as well as smart phones and tablets.

We might be witnessing one of the most impactful resolutions and transformation in education for the last decades through this project.
