Recently Heliopolis, a highly crowded and residential area, gave the crowd of the night life a new gem to compete with the bars and clubs of the famed Island of Zamalek; The Garden, for the last month, has been a widely sought after destination by the hip growd of Cairo.

The half open air, half indoor club and bistro gives off a trendy air with an industrial feel mix with touch of green. The brick walls, the contemporary looking bar and the neon orange light bulb dangling from the high ceiling complement the greenery and the wooden benches.

For party loves the place is almost ideal with the exception of the pricey boucheon at the door, 250 per bottle, everything is perfect…groovy music, hip clientele and a speedy efficient service.

If you want something to nibble on, that shall not be a problem, the bistro has a decent menu of oriental appetizers/mezzah. If you are craving something meaty, opt for a burger, they are juicy tasty and big.

In a nutshell, other than the pricey cocktails and the high corkage, The Garden is perfect…and a rumor is now circulating among party lovers that La Bodega will open on the same building…I will definitely go again.

The place opens from 6PM to 2AM.
