In the beginning, itโ€™s all giggles and laughter served for two, happy memories and promises that may or may not be genuine. In the end, one is served tears and the other is not here to wipe them away.ย The one who cries burning tears is the one who forgives and forgets, the one who waits and hopes. Life stops, waiting for the other to come back filled with regret. The one crying would always forgive no matter how much they have endured.

No one likes to cry or feel vulnerable for anyone no matter how large the space they filled in their lives, yet we cry because itโ€™s the easiest thing to do before hate takes over. No one wishes to feel sorry for themselves or accept that destructive feeling.ย Eventually, youย sit down and take a long look at what those tears have brought you. Knowing that all you wanted was their warmth next to you, but they chose to be cold. Tears harden your heart. Unconsciously, you will blame yourself for every tear you lost for those who didnโ€™t know the value of those tears, who didnโ€™t know the amount of love you carried in your heart for them.ย Then they will watch as your love turns into hate. The problem is when that cold person returns and they will, for that is the sad nature of things. We spin, we move away and we collide. When we need something, it flies away and when we don’t, it lands in our open arms.

The moment you feel powerful again after you were broken and weak, know that you bought that power with all the tears you had shed before. Remember all you went through, take a deep breath and smile for all the pain and tears you wasted when they couldnโ€™t care less.ย Remember how your world stopped just for them while they moved on before you even got a chance to say goodbye. Appreciate who you have become, for you are never the same again. You will never be so naive to believe false promises nor will you be this vulnerable again. You will remember all of it in a blink of an eye while they were too cruel to see it.

You will refuse the idea of opening up your heart again; you will refuse to believe that someone better is out there looking for you.
If you let someone go, donโ€™t wait till they stop crying for you. If you were the one left behind when you hopelessly did all you can, cry as much as you can until no tears are left to crawl down your cheeks. Only then you can wake up and know that if someone loved you, they wonโ€™t ever let you cry, they would rather die.
They wonโ€™t survive seeing you in pain and if they did, it means it never was real to begin with and you deserve real.
