This weekend, we’ve got a special treat for you. Ampersand Eatery is a quaint little restaurant that’s recently opened on Zamalek’s Abu-El Feda Street. Their rustic design and cozy feel is sure to welcome you in to the space; their food is bound to make your taste buds dance!
Despite the small size of the restaurant, it’s definitely got a warm atmosphere. Their little garden exterior is the perfect place to have a lovely breakfast or dining experience. The greenery all around gives you the sense that you’re having dinner in a secret garden all to yourself. 
We love the fact that they serve their beverages in jars to promote the overall rustic feel of their restaurant. While their menu serves a variety of different food items, from pastas to Gnocchi (Italian soft dough dumplings served in a creamy sauce), their signature dish would definitely have to be the Ampersand Burger which is a savory beef burger with ossobuco sauce. But it doesn’t stop there! This isn’t just any beef patty; the burger is actually infused with cheese inside the patty which makes this burger particularly indulgent. 
We recommend their Chocolate and Berry Glass for dessert, which is a perfect choice to complement the decadent burger. This desert is a combination of molten chocolate, red berries compote and melted marshmallows and biscuit. This desert is definitely not for the faint hearted, but you’ll definitely miss out if you don’t give it a try.
