This weekend, we’re ready for a more laid-back atmosphere with Bus Stop, the sports bar that’s opened a few months back next to the Waterway in New Cairo. We’re really happy that the phenomenon of sports bars and pubs is gaining ground in Cairo especially since most Cairenes are more into partying rather than just chilling over a drink after a long day’s work.

What really makes the Bus Stop a chill place to hang out and have a drink is the interior of the space. The leather seats and rustic bar give it a nice retro feel. It’s also coupled with neon lights throughout which is reminiscent of the bar’s name, “Bus Stop”. We’re really happy with the space and the design that tries to embody the modern while incorporating an old 50’s feel with Marilyn Monroe posters lining the walls.IMG_4813

Another aspect that’ll definitely put this bar on your go to list is the fact that it’s not just crammed with seats. It also features a foosball and Billiards table. You’re guaranteed a night of entertainment if you visit! You can watch the Champions League games there too, and with the final stages of the tournament just around the corner, you’ll be sure to find enthusiastic spectators lining up at their doors! IMG_4814

If you’re more into the party scene, Bus Stop is still the place for you. This Thursday, they host the Gawdat brothers playing techno house in their line up. Be sure to reserve so you can get down to these beats! Check out the event here!
