For some reason, people associate derogatory attributes to being single. It’s like a disease, something that no one should have, when it honestly shouldn’t be. If you’re single, you should embrace everything that your life is at the moment. Even if you’re dying to get into a relationship, you need to know that being single is an actual bliss. You learn things you wouldn’t fully understand otherwise:

1- Who you really areinto-the-wild

I’m sure you’ve heard this one before. There’s no direct way to really knowing who you are; it’s true. But when you’re single, you get a chance to focus on yourself and learn what you enjoy and what you don’t. Instead of investing in a relationship and in the person you are with your significant other, you get the time to know who you are and what you want to be alone!

2- How to invest in yourselfsingle

This comes hand in hand with discovering who you are! When you’re single, and you pinpoint your likes and dislikes, you get the time to invest in YOU. I mean, you can finally practice that sport you’ve been thinking about for a while, or develop that hobby you like. You can learn to play a new instrument. Obviously, you can still do that when you’re with someone too. But, usually when you’re in a relationship, your partner takes up A LOT of your time. Therefore, you find yourself less capable of doing things for yourself. If you’re single, now is the time! Do it all.

3- That friends are like familyperson

You’re going to learn to invest in friendships! Your friends are going to be an essential part of your life, they’ll be like family. You’ll also find yourself socializing a lot more than you would’ve if you were in a relationship. People tend to forget about making new friends when in a relationship since they have someone who fills up their days. Being single gives you a chance to expand yourself by widening your social group.

4- What you want to be in lifesingleee

When you’re not committed to a relationship, you’ll find that it’s a lot easier to dream really big! You have nothing holding you back, no significant other wanting you to stay or to come back, etc. You can genuinely take yourself anywhere and not care that much. You can focus on any goal you want.

5- You will learn to enjoy life on your own reese

By being on your own, you’re kind of forced to do things, well, on your own. Sure, it’s great to have someone to dine or go to the movies with, but once you actually try to do these things by yourself, you’ll realize how genuinely amazing it is. You’ll love your own company and you’ll be happy to spend time with yourself.

6- How to depend on yourself! singleness

That all leads to learning how to depend on yourself. You don’t need anyone to make you happy. You make ‘you’ happy. Also, you’ll learn to count on yourself. Your car’s broken? You’ll learn how to fix it on your own. You’ll be a wholesome individual who doesn’t need anybody to be able to function.

7- How to save moneysingle

There’s little chance you’ll be able to save money whilst in a relationship. There are the constant dates and hangouts you have to spend lavishly on. Also, don’t forget about the gifts you need to get your partner for their birthday, New Year’s Eve, Christmas, Valentine’s day and your anniversary. It’s an endless list. Honestly, being single IS a bliss. If you’re thinking about saving a bit of money, now is the time.

Love being single, take it in and enjoy every second of it. Don’t wait around for someone to come and love you; you love ‘you’. You’re a full complete circle and you can be happy on your own.
