Traveling is a life-long dream by most, if not all Egyptians. You must have thought at least once about traveling out of Egypt, either for fun or for work. In case you’re not yet capable of materializing that dream, we’ve compiled a list of 5 Egyptian travel bloggers and travel agencies. Following their social media accounts will sure give you a taste of your dream.

1- “No Fixed Address”

“No Fixed Address” is a Facebook page by Mahmoud Kamal, who is an automobile journalist and a world traveler. He posts daily pictures and stories about his travelling adventures and strongly encourages everyone to follow his path. He shares his views that in life we can do more than just work hard in order to own a car or an apartment; why do that when you can tour the world? Kamal also gives valuable tips about how to afford traveling on a budget.

2- The Wanderlust Diver

The Wanderlust Diver is a Facebook page by an Egyptian girl, named Maha Hussein, who shares her adventures of diving in the world’s most beautiful spots. Maha strongly encourages young girls to travel and believes that girls can be perfectly safe traveling alone contrary to what many Egyptian parents might believe.

3- Travel like an Egyptian

Marwan Lotfy is a young Egyptian man who quit his job to travel the world, not for fun purposes but to study human behavior and cultural diversity. On his Facebook page, Lotfy says “I believe that traveling can improve your entire life. When I encourage you to pursue your dream, I’m not asking you to quit your job. I’m just asking you to step out of your comfort zone.”

4- Safar Project

Founded last February, Safar Project is a portal that aims to help Egyptians who want to travel, collecting vital travel information in Arabic. Abdelrahman Amr, Safar Project’s founder, stated in an interview with Daily News Egypt, that it all started when he was solo travelling to Europe. He did a lot of research and found tons of information but he hardly found anything in Arabic. Later on, Amr wanted to share what he learned and also help others share their experiences, thus came the idea of Safar Project.

Arab travelers can now find all the travel information they need.

At the first event ever for Safar Project, Fady Hanna, an Egyptian globetrotter gave a speech about his adventure travelling to 86 countries. Hanna’s dream is to visit all 193 UN member countries.

5- Gazef

Gazef is a travel company that was founded in 2013. In an interview with Daily News Egypt, Gazef’s co-founder, Omar Galal said that they think of themselves less as a travel agency and more as an adventure consultancy. Gazef’s trips include activities such as cage shark diving and doing the highest bungee jump in the world.
