After a two year hiatus, Hesham Maged and Chico return to the small screen, and they’re not back empty-handed! After a brief split to tackle separate projects, the duo reunite to bring us El Leaba’s highly anticipated fifth season, their latest (and hopefully not their last) addition to the popular comedy series. And they’re not alone.
Also returning to El Leaba are the majority of the beloved cast who make for the series’ comedic and lighthearted spirit, including Merna Gamil, Mohamed Tharwat, Samy Meghawry, May Kassab, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Amr and Mohamed Outaka, joined by the latest surprise addition to El Leaba: Ashraf Abdel Baky!
That’s right! Abdel Baky is one of many latest additions to the series and in a pivotal role that takes control of the series’ story as it further unfolds. In the series, he plays (pun-intended) the latest version of “El Leaba,” presented through a personalized hologram with a witty sense of humor that hosts the contenders’ latest tournament: El Classico!
Known for its fun combination of comedy, challenges, and colorful visuals, we’re definitely excited for El Leaba’s fifth season following its two year absence, and we’re eager to see what the series has in store for us in the remaining episodes!
