1- It’s super expensive

Losing weight also means losing cash in your wallet. Not only is health food wildly overpriced, but so are athletic dietary supplements like whey proteins and amino acids. Once you actually achieve your target weight, you’ll have to invest in an entirely new wardrobe. Think about it: would you rather be skinny and poor, or keep your money and stay plump and curvaceous the way you are?

2- Who cares what other people think?

Surely, you claim you’re getting in shape to feel better about yourself, but in your heart you know you’re really just doing it to look better in other people’s eyes. Trying consistently to please others and appeal to them is not a healthy thing to do. There are people who just love you but there those who always want to be better than you and will always try to keep you down

3- Junk food tastes delicious

Do I really need to say more? We’re a country that thrives on McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Koshary, Hawawshi, Feteer and much more, and for a pretty darn good reason too, we love it! Just don’t forget my diet coke please.

4- Exercise is not fun

Running? No thank you! Stairmaster? I think I’ll pass. Everyone knows that exercise is a boring, unpleasant waste of life. As much as I used to enjoy it at one point in my life, my friends and I couldn’t keep it up without any motivation, except that “Beach body”.

5- There are other things you can enjoy

Try to learn a third language, pick up that old guitar and start practicing, grab that book you’ve wanted to read for so long, or even just hang out and chill with your other lazy buddies while watching a F.R.I.E.N.D.S marathon. So stop wasting all that precious time and start doing something better.
