A hairdresser for a woman is not just a hairdresser, but more like a friend, with a very social hangout. And since Eid was a week ago, the club was extremely crowded with different types of women and the socialization was at its peak. Here are some of the women you meet at the hairdresser:

Miss Know-It-All (El Fatayah)

The lady that always has an opinion and she is going to say it: “you should change your hair colour,” “be careful, that product may damage your hair,” “why don’t you try some lights? They’re going to look great on you!” Woman, if we needed your opinion, we would have asked for it. Stop sticking your nose into my hair!

The “Good Old Days” Ladies:

Those ladies who have passed the age of 60, but still go to the hairdresser on a regular basis and dye their hair, straighten it, and try different hair styles. They apply nail polish and makeup and come out looking younger than some teenagers.

The Stuck-Up Snob:

The girl that comes in and sits in a chair straight away without even greeting anyone and keeps on playing on her phone. Her only interaction is looking around at people with resentment.

Little Miss Sweetheart:

The lady that comes in and greets everyone, the ones she knows and the ones she doesn’t, with a huge smile on her face. She helps around, engages in conversations, and jokes with everyone.

The Chatterbox:

The woman who comes in and doesn’t shut her mouth from the moment she steps her foot inside the hairspray-filled room; she keeps on talking about anything and anyone. She just goes on and on and on.

The Beauty Queen:

After-Makeover-When-She-Super-Hot

Those ladies who invest more time thinking about how they look, what colour their hair is, their skin, and how to match their nail polish with their outfit, than there is in the day! They don’t mind trying any product that has the possibility of beautifying them, they exit the salon as if they’re competing in a beauty pageant.
