One thing that’s a bit too sad to know is that every girl, regardless of nationality, has a ‘Creepy Man Story’. Whether this man is an ex or a classmate or just a friend who started being just super creepy one day, the story is there.
Recently, we’ve come upon an online post of Egyptian girls discussing their own creepy man stories, we’ve come to notice that, well, they’re mostly about ‘psycho exes’. And since we’re here, we might as well look through some of the wildest, creepiest stories.
“He used to eat my leftover gum.”
Yes, we’re starting off with a wild one here. According to this girl, her ex used to, well, not let her throw her used gum in the trash because he’d chew it himself. And apparently (wait for it), this was supposed to be cute.
And okay, it’s preferable that you never find yourself in a position like this because this is just some stalker-level sh*t, but if you do, the answer is simple. Take a shower, sit in front of a wind current (a fan, an open window, whatever), and intentionally get a cold so the next time, Mr. Creepy will get something of a lesson.
“He took my phone to fix it for me because I was upset and I wanted it with me for a special event…and then he installed a spy app to see who I’m texting.”
No, this isn’t Joe from You. That was some run-of-the-mill Egyptian boy and this is honestly concerning. Instead of this being an “awww, he did that for her” type of story, this turned into a “get a restraining order” type of tale.
For all intents and purposes, if you ever find yourself in a story like this, try to be as present as possible so no one can do a number on your phone and your privacy. But if the deed is done, you can do either one of two things — call the Internet Police or hack the creep back.
“We got into a fight while he was driving me home, so he refused to let me leave and went on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road and took my phone so I wouldn’t call anyone. He didn’t let me leave until I ‘took him back’.”
You know how you can sometimes just be rendered absolutely speechless by how twisted a person is? Yeah, well, this is one of those times for us. There’s really no advice here.
Well, except for the fact that if you met a person who’s like this, you should do like this girl did. Play along until you can leave and be in a safe place, from where you will block this walking nightmare on every platform possible and never look back again.
“He threatened me with a gun because he was jealous and locked me in his car.”
Hey, remember that thing we said just a second ago? About playing along until you’re home safe? Yeah, add to it one more thing. Buy a taser or a self-defense weapon because the creeps are literally everywhere and they won’t stop.
“We had a fight in the middle of the street and he accused a random passerby of kissing me when that didn’t happen. And then he got mad I told him it didn’t.”
There’s a certain level of jealousy that’s cute to most people. This, however, is just maniacal territory and it’s telling of many things to come.
If you’re ever with someone this ‘jealous’ and also a bit delusional, set your boundaries and tell them to back off. And if they don’t, our ‘dump him’ tip still stands.
“He threatened me with hurting himself so I wouldn’t leave him because if I did, he was going to harm himself to the point of death.”
A person who will do this is either in need of actual help or literally only an abuser who’s flexing their manipulative muscle. All you can do here is send the number for a therapist and text one of their friends just in case and then immediately block this person because, yikes.
“He stalked my ex just to get to me.”
We don’t know how this girl knew this but we’re just thankful she did. That’s not a red flag, it’s the mother of all red flags because not only is this person a stalker, they’re also modelling themselves after a person you already liked just so they could get to you.
