Egypt’s Street Children National Team successfully qualified for the semi-finals of the 2026 Street Children World Cup currently being held in Mexico, following strong performances and impressive results throughout the tournament, continuing to write a new story of sporting and humanitarian success for Egypt.
The Egyptian team consists of 10 children who were prepared through a comprehensive rehabilitation program that lasted for more than 10 months, with the support of Aspire for Community Development and Nafs. The program included intensive physical training as well as psychological and social support, aiming to prepare the players for international competition, boost their self-confidence, and provide them with a real opportunity for a new beginning through sports.
