Are you counting down the days to the upcoming long Eid break, or is it just us? Well, with a long nine days off, things could get a little boring and Netflix alone just won’t do it. That’s why we think you should check out the list of Eid movies coming your way in cinemas and decide now.
A side note: We know some of the movies listed below were set to be released months ago, but hey, blame it on Covid-19!
El Aref
This blockbuster had to land at the top of our list, obviously. The movie starring Ahmed Ezz, Ahmed Fahmi and Mahmoud Hemeida is giving us serious James Bond vibes and we just can’t wait to see how that will play out. But hey, not to set the bar too high or anything; let’s just hope it’ll be as good as “El Rahina” at least!
Moussa
Peter Mimi, the famous director, has clearly caught up with the Hollywood fever. Yes, the idea of Moussa seems pretty similar to Will Smith’s ” I Robot” but here at least we’ll have an Egyptian robots movie. Also, we think this movie is where Kareem Mahmoud Abdel Aziz will really peak.
El Ens Wel Nems
Another one we’re really looking forward to is the new Mohamed Heneidy and Menna Shalaby movie. Other than the two megastars, we have a wide selection of talents here too. Arfa Abdel Rasoul, Sabrine, Amr Abdel Gelil and Bayoumy Fouad!
El Ba3d La Yazhab Lel Ma’zoun Martayn
We don’t know what is it, but this movie has had its share of bad luck. At this moment, we’re just hesitant to announce its release out of fear of another postponing. But things have been looking good for movie releases, so fingers crossed. Let’s leave it there.
Amar 14
We still don’t know much about it and the trailer hasn’t dropped yet, but from the little we know it seems quite interesting. The movie stars Khaled El Nabawy (insert heart emoji) Shereen Reda, Ahmed El Fishawy, Ahmed Malek and Yasmine Raes. We mean, what could possibly go wrong with such names on board?
