Every girl has a dream that she wants to hold on to and turn into reality; that is why Always launched “Stand up” initiative in Egypt under the hashtag قومى # encouraging every girl to stand up for her dreams. The initiative empowers girls in the region to have the confidence to pursue their aspirations regardless of the different obstacles they may face in order to reach them.
Nutritionist, Shereen El Shimi, football coach, Samah Zaki, writer and entrepreneur, Amy Mowafi, and photographer, Nehal Ismail, partnered up with Always to share their stories on how they stood up to make their dreams come true and to encourage Egyptian girls to share their stand up moments which will all be featured in a collective online diary on Facebook.
