For the first time, AUC holds the fourth edition of the Annual Conference for Research and Creativity Convention (RCC) virtually and invites the public to attend the conference’s events and discussions. The conference will be held from March 28 to April 1. During the conference, Mark Fahim and Ali Imad, two students in the Information and Communication Technology Department, will present their idea of an app, “Shaga3ni,” which means “Encourage Me” in English that will encourage Egyptian society to practice sports for the first time.
Shaga3ni is a co-founded application to serve the Egyptian community. The founders, who are majoring in business, aim to connect Egyptians who practice sports while doing what they make best and love. Researches and observations show that the clubs’ tracks are full of people all days of the week, the soccer fields are hard to reserve, cycling events are every weekend all over Egypt. Egyptians have much passion and give much time for sports and they communicate and build good relationships every day with new people.
