On the occasion of Mother’s Day, IKEA organized a cooking duets competition for mother and child. IKEA Judges selected the winners based on presentation, taste, texture, and talent. Customers showcased creativity and cooked a variety of scrumptious dishes with their children from pasta, Syrian Fattah and even more complicated recipes like Kebab and Veal Piccata, while visitors buzzed around watching in anticipation.
‘It was a very exciting two days. Everyone loved it, children even more, and we received several requests to register customers to join the competition, so we are considering to repeat it soon”, said Rana Shahin marketing director at IKEA. Families enjoyed spending quality and fun time with their children; and winners walked away with gift vouchers from IKEA.
