The Apple live streaming yesterday of the launch of the new iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 plus ended with a -expected- surprise of announcing the Apple Watch.

The live stream faced some problems as it disconnected frequently and froze at some moments. This was not taken by Apple fanatics lightly who were waiting to see what apple had in store for them.

If you missed the event, here are the highlights

iPhone 6 (4.7 inches) & iPhone 6 Plus (5.5 inches) will be ready to pre-order on September 12th. The cost remains fairly around the same price as the previous models. They also eliminated the 32GB model and now offer 16, 64 and 128 GB versions.

After that, the major event was announcing the Apple Watch. An advancement in wearable technology that is faced with a lot of questioning. However, the audience of press & developers seemed to be very excited about it! Watch the beautiful video introducing the watch below

The watch comes in three editions Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sports and Apple Edition (A more luxurious option with 18 karat gold) The watch is customize with different strap options and even comes in two screen sizes.

Instantly there was a parody made making fun of the Apple Watch…

It is safe to say that Apple certainly struck a big blow to other companies who have been developing wearable technology but have failed to develop something that is both stylish and intuitive. Tim Cook got a standing ovation and clearly was very proud!
