1- Plan together

Choose a location that you’re both mutually interested in. Make sure that there are things to do for both of you. Not all boys like shopping and not all girls are interested in going to stadiums. So to avoid one of you getting bored or feeling annoyed, plan the trip together.

2- Near location

Make sure to save the long hour trip for your third or forth anniversary. Try finding a location with little travel time as long plane rides or having to catch more than one flight can be very stressful for a new couple.

3- Don’t be extreme

Taking your boyfriend camping whether it’s in the desert or on the beach isn’t a good idea for your first trip together. You won’t know what to expect when it comes to the weather, the food or the facilities. And not to mention how disastrous it can be for your skin and hair.

4- One-on-one

If you want to have a more intimate trip with your boyfriend –no distractions and no one to keep you away from him– a one-on-one trip is recommended. Traveling with your guy’s buddies will only work to keep you apart and we all know that just won’t do!

5- Pack light

Over packing is what leads to stressful travelling. Even if you don’t want to be wearing the same thing everyday you’ll just have to get creative with your outfits. Mix and match to create a new outfit every day.
