Gladiators come in different shapes and lengths to suit every taste. There are short and long ones, with lots of thin straps or just a couple of broad ones, with heels or flat; all you need to do is to pick the right one that matches your shape and your outfit.
1-Typical Knee-length Gladiator:
Knee-length gladiators are usually worn with shorts, short dresses or skirts. They usually flatter tall slender legs, but make short thick legs look shorter.
Ankle gladiators suit everyone. You can have them with wedges, heeled or flat. They’re easier to style and wear because they can be worn with anything and everything: trousers, shorts, skirts and dresses. If you’re planning to wear them with pants, it’s best to choose skinny short ones that reveal the ankle.
- If you’re wearing a simple plain outfit, you can pull off a gladiator with too many details like tassels or embroidary. If you are wearing a patterned attire, however, it’s advisable stick to a simpler plain gladiator.
- If your leg is wide, it’s better to wear a gladiator with less straps.
- If you want to play it safe, stick to basic colours like black, nude or tan.
