When the news came out about the Hurghada attack at the Bella Vista Hotel, everyone started screaming Daesh, especially as this attack that injured three tourists came right after a Daesh claimed attack on tourists in Giza.

We all know Daesh is the worst and would really appreciate it if they stopped ruining any chance Egypt has at reviving its tourism industry. But Daesh has yet to claim this attack, so did the media and everyone else involved jump to conclusions too quickly? Yeah, we know the scene fits the typical story. A few assailants attacking tourists, which in turn will scare others off. But some people have heard otherwise, a story that is nowhere to be found on mainstream media.

Would someone really send attackers to someone’s hotel because of a debt?! That is absolutely insane, because not only did it injure innocent people, it added to the fear of terrorism in the country. We don’t care how much he was owed, if this is true, he just did a disservice to his entire country. Even if the story got cleared up, which it probably won’t, it will never circulate as much as the one that showed Daesh infiltrating Egypt. Thanks man. Now you’re the worst too.
