As the Fairmont Heliopolis & Towers continues to spice up its cuisine and food outlets, the newest addition to the Fairmont family is Lan Tania’s Executive Chef Pitchaphat Duangkhum.

“We are pleased to have Chef Pitchaphat on board,” said Marketing Manager Yara Atlam. “We’re sure she’s going to take Lan Tania to a new level, making it a market favorite in the city.”

The stylish, yet conveniently positioned property welcomed some of Cairo’s hottest media outlets and influencers to partake in a day in the kitchen. Thai was the cuisine of the afternoon, and succulent dishes galore were cooked up by the guests themselves.

Chef Duangkhum taught invitees how to extract the most flavour from an array of authentic Thai ingredients, including citrusy Lemongrass, ginger-like Galangal, fresh Kaffir Lime Leaves and bold Red Eye Chili.

Guests’ knife skills were put to the test, along with each of their five senses, in order to cook up a mouthwatering menu of Chicken Coconut Soup,Thai Beef Salad, Chicken and Beef Satay, Green Curry Prawns, Thai Beef Salad, and last but not least Cucumber Arjard Sauce and Peanut Sauce. An array of scrumptious bites, consumed by the happy bunch.
