Bikini season is around the corner and we can’t help but stare down at our bellies that are the furthest away from the body figure we have pictured for ourselves this summer. That being said, we don’t want you to worry about it, because with these simple hacks you will be good to go for summer in no time!

1. Do Yoga

We realize that Yoga classes have become quite expensive lately which is why we brought you these simple yoga poses that you could do at home.

  • Garland Pose

We know what you’re thinking, but it’s easier than it looks. All you have to do is drop your heels to the ground while making sure that you toes are out, and VOILA!

  • Plank

The good old plank will do wonders for your body figure, so whatever you do make sure you manage to squeeze in a one minute plank everyday.

  • Crescent Pose, aka High Lunge

The Crescent Lunge is your best friend as far you’re concerned, and here’s a quick tip: Make sure that your front and back foot are at least hip-width apart.

Do these poses everyday, and watch out for the results!

2. Drink Plenty of Water 

Most people often underestimate the power of water in any diet. However, doubling your water intake and drinking a few extra cups of green tea will help boost your metabolism allowing you to lose a few extra calories than your body is normally used to.

3. Don’t go on a diet, instead cut down on your carbs and sugars

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to get ripped for Marassi, you just have to look healthy. Don’t go on extreme diets, instead focus on what you are eating. Do you really need that bar of chocolate? Is that loaf of bread really necessary, are you really hungry, or are you just eating it because it’s ridiculously delicious? Ask yourself these questions every time you decide to eat a meal, and we can assure you that it will change the way you eat completely.

4. Sleep

I don’t know about you, but my grandma always told me that when all goes wrong, I should go to sleep. Luckily for you though, this time, in order for your body to get “right”, you need to sleep enough hours to allow your body to rest and your metabolism to function efficiently.

Finally, whatever you do love your body, because it’s the only thing that will be there for you when all else fails and when everyone leaves.
