Chances are, you’ve recently heard about the inauguration of a new hotel for dogs in Egypt. The peeps at Blue Marketing Service are taking the dog world to a whole new level; they’re planning Egypt’s first mass wedding for dogs! Woof woof!
The event is set to take place at the North Coast on June 11th. Since it’s the mating season, couples will be paired together and pretty much left to do their own thing in peace and quiet.
The event might raise some eyebrows since animal activists will speculate that the whole purpose behind this ‘orgy’ is to breed dogs when in fact it’s taking place to raise awareness about the same topic. It’ll be an opportunity to brief dog owners about the most healthy ways to breed their dogs and what to expect during the mating season.
The event will include a dog dancing show, best looking dog competition and best dog name. Here’s to hoping the winning dog is called ‘Hanafy’!
If you don’t find any of this interesting enough, the event organizers are planning to host a free BBQ for the participants; all proceeds will go to building a shelter for stray dogs.
This might be the most brilliant dog festival ever, or just the opposite. Whatever happens, we’re curious to find out.
