When asked about our favorite food, it’s hard not to mention one of McDonald’s legendary meals. Whether it’s their Chicken McNuggets, Big Tasty or fries; we love them all. So, we decided to uncover the truth about the making of our favorite McDonald’s dishes.
McDonald’s is the only global fast food chain that actually opens up about what goes on behind their kitchen doors, as a means to reassure their curious customers. Of course, when we heard that McDonald’s is doing just that by opening their doors and letting us in on all the secrets that take place behind kitchen doors, we couldn’t pass up the invitation.
McDonald’s Open Door Tour campaign gave us the opportunity to witness everything first hand. We got to see for ourselves how employees prioritize hygiene over everything else; hand sanitizers were the first thing we noticed entering the kitchen. We were taken to their storage rooms which were equipped with the latest ventilation systems and refrigerators that don’t exceed temperatures of four degrees Celsius.
Our favorite part of the tour is when we were led to see the making of McDonald’s legendary French fries and their delicious chicken and beef. It turns out that they are sourced from local suppliers and are cooked in fresh oil that is changed frequently using a thermometer-like device that signals when the oil needs changing.
This campaign was definitely an eye-opener for all those who have been doubting the cleanliness and quality of the food. Thank you McDonald’s for giving us the opportunity to uncover the truth.
