Salah

Almost everyone noticed how messy our timelines on all social media platforms got since yesterday night, when Mo Salah, who is apparently now being perceived as the “bad guy” who is looking for attention (It’s not like he already has all of it or anything lol), tweeted with a fiery attitude, attacking the Egyptian Football Association because they have been ignoring him and his agent for a few weeks now.

Following his tweet, his agent Ramy Abbas tweeted another cryptic message, like the ones he tweeted before when the feud between Salah and the EFA first broke out during the world cup.

Naturally, so many people have taken to Twitter and Facebook to support Salah, keeping in mind what the EFA put him through during the National Team’s training camp at Chechnya, leading to a series of international criticism.

However, when the feud sparked up again yesterday, along with the support, came so many comments attacking Salah himself, accusing him of raising the public opinion and trying to gain ‘Fame and publicity’.

It obviously makes so much sense that the premier league top scorer, the CAF African footballer of the year, Liverpool’s player of the season, oh and the PFA player of the year, Mohamed Salah, is initiating this whole propaganda to gain more fame, cause he certainly needs more of that, right?

Salah

Well, we decided to gather some moments throughout his career, where he only did things to gain fame and raise the public opinion, other than attacking the EFA on Twitter, of course:

1# Sending Egypt to the World Cup:

Well, Salah was surely only looking for attention when he scored the goal that sent Egypt to the World Cup for the first time in 28 years, not just that; he was probably trying to get more famous when he was the only player to score ANY goals for Egypt throughout its three matches in the world cup. Such a shame.

2# Taking pictures with people outside his house:

Since Salah is the person to ignore sleep for attention, when an enormous number of people gathered in front of his house in Egypt, in the middle of the night; he went outside to take pictures with them, because instead of caring about his wife and daughter sleeping peacefully, he wanted his sleepy eyes pictures spread all over social media. (Not because he appreciates their love at all)

3# Raising Egypt’s flag on his shoulder:

Remember when he won THE GOLDEN BOOT? Well, after receiving the award, and taking some pictures here and there, he raised the Egyptian flag and placed it on top of his shoulder, not because he brought pride to his country or anything, it’s just because he wanted more attention, as we already established; right?

4# When he was nominated in Best FIFA Men’s Player:

Okay, so when he was nominated in such a majorly important award, he did not change his display picture on both Twitter and Instagram because he was paying tribute to where he actually came from or anything, it was just for attention and more recognition. Wasn’t it? (Keeping in mind that this has always been a dream of his)

As we can see, one of the very few who brought pride and joy to this country and its people, is being accused of seeking more attention and fame; although it does not make any sense and everybody is well aware of that. Again, such a shame!
