Hear us out on this one, what if we told you Ryan Reynolds and The Rock are starring together in a brand new super hit movie? Well, this isn’t just a what if question, it’s actually happening! Red Notice has been on top of Netflix’s most trending list since it came out and we strongly stand by that!
The movie talks about an Interpol agent who attempts to arrest a mastermind art thief. They take us on quite the adventure throughout the two hour span of the movie. It’s the perfect adventure if you’re asking for our opinion!
We’ve seen the movie and we’re here to tell you why it’s not just your typical action movie, it’s a must watch! Don’t worry, we’re keeping it spoiler free.
The Acting
Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot together in one movie? It definitely has to be a great hit, there’s no questioning that! We knew the movie was going to be outstanding, we just didn’t know the acting was going to be that great!
But then again, when have we ever seen a bad movie for any of the actors mentioned above? Never, that’s for sure! The casting of each of the characters was quite perfect. You know when a character feels just right? That’s how we felt about all the roles played in Red Notice .
Of course we can’t talk about acting and forget to mention the great Ryan Reynolds. His outstanding portrayal of the sarcastic yet professional art thief blew our minds! He made us forget he was a character in a movie and that just proves how talented of an actor he is!
The Rock is a one of a kind Interpol agent himself, that’s for sure. We mean who could be more fit for the role than Dwayne Johnson? We can’t think of a better fit for the rigid and serious character! As for the breathtaking Gal Gadot, she certainly fit the role of the sassy lady boss that she is!
Each of the actors in the movie complemented their characters and presented them just perfectly and we believe that’s a huge part of why the movie has become such a success!
The Humor

Have you ever seen an action movie and felt like it was a bit too much? It do be like that sometimes! This is why we absolutely loved this comedy action! The amusing humor in Red Notice provided us with just the perfect balance.
There were times when our stomachs hurt from laughing and other times when we were at the edge of our seats waiting for what’s going to happen next. It wasn’t another action filled fiesta that bored us along the way, it was the complete opposite!
We have to admit the Reynolds and Johnson duo helped enhance both the comedy and action aspects of the movie!
The Events
This movie took us on quite a literal rollercoaster of events! The fast paced twists and turns in the story managed to always keep us on our feet. It’s not only the unmatched plot twists but also the unpredictable events that just kept rolling.
If you’ve seen this movie, you’d know what we mean when we say it had us hooked the entire time. All spoilers left aside, this action comedy is simply quite eventful!
The Cinematography
Have you seen the shots in this movie? It’s pure camera magic! We fell in love with the camera work in that production and still can’t get over how outstanding it was!
It’s not just the shot but the camera angles, the graphics, the music and everything that made up the entirety of the scenes! This Netflix production was definitely a lot more than we had predicted for it!
