For the Second Year in a Row During Holy Month…”Fawry” Donates Service Costs of Financial Transactions for Charities.

As a continuation of its pioneering role in serving community over the past years and its eager to provide support to various associations and charitable organizations for the benefit of citizines; “Fawry”, pioneer of financial technology services in Egypt, decided to continue the initiative of donating service costs of financial transactions for charities for the second consecutive year.

The first initiative of this kind was launched by “Fawry” during last Ramadan; it was very well accepted by all society categories and achieved a great success. The initiative succeeded in encouraging all society categories on donating to charities.

Mohamed Okasha, Managing Member of Fawry, said that the company planned to continue the initiative this year throughout the holy month, this after the great increase in donations percentage for charities through “Fawry” during last Ramadan.

As a result of the huge success achieved, a large number of banks have joined this pioneering national initiative, launched by “Fawry”, which aims primarily at serving and supporting civil society. These banks decided to donate the service fees on all customers’ donations for charities as well.

Okasha added: “It is available to donate directly through more than 100,000 Fawry outlets distributed all over Egypt, or by a click on Fawry website through which you can donate using credit cards; or through ATMs, Egypt Post offices, e-wallets of top Egyptian banks in Egypt.

“Fawry” claimed on all governmental and private sector companies working in various fields, whether industrial, commercial or economic, to contribute in this initiative or launch similar initiatives whether in the holy month of Ramadan or during months of the year; to support the most needy categories and to improve the level of services provided to citizens in different sectors.

It is worthy to mention that “Fawry” provides easy sophisticated fast ways to donate directly for many hospitals, medical centers; and charities such as Ahl Masr Foundation, Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, Resala Charity Organization, Baheya Hospital and the National Cancer Institute, Children鈥檚 Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 and more than 60 charities all aimed at serving the community.
