A diverse mix of some of the biggest names in the entertainment world have been lined up to compliment this month’s 2015 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX.

The sensational list of musical acts headlining at Yas Marina Circuit features Blur, Fares Karam, Enrique Iglesias, Cheb Khaled, Florence + the Machine, DJ Said Mrad, and Aryam.

Away from the track, the entertainment continues with a host of bands, DJs and soloists, as well as street and stunt shows covering everything from parkour and acrobatics to caricature and magic shows.

It all takes place over race weekend during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from November 26-29 at Yas Marina Circuit.

“Every year, we are tasked with bringing in the best acts from around the world to cater to the diverse range of tastes and interests within the Abu Dhabi community and among visiting fans,” said Al Tareq Al Ameri, CEO of Yas Marina Circuit. “We can proudly say that we have risen to that challenge once again.

“The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is synonymous with the action and high-adrenaline excitement of motor racing. But we’re unique among Grand Prix host cities in giving race fans so much more besides.

“From the superstar headlining bands through to the solo street performers, we’re honoured to welcome this year’s line-up of entertainers to Abu Dhabi and are confident that everyone will enjoy the show.”

The fun kicks off on Thursday, November 26 with a line-up of celebrated regional artists representing the Arabic language’s best vocalists.

The music icon Cheb Khaled, who propelled Arabic music onto the global stage, will be joined by the Emirati songstress Aryam, the Lebanese star Fares Karam, and the guru of Arabian electronic dance music DJ Said Mrad.

Over race weekend, as the adrenaline-pumping battles on the track wind down each day, the most acclaimed names in world music will prepare to take to the stage.

The singer, songwriter and actor Enrique Iglesias, widely regarded as the King of Latin Pop, will perform on Friday, November 27. The following day, after F1 qualifying, the British Indie-rock band Florence + the Machine will entertain the crowd. Blur, one of the most successful British bands of the past two decades, will provide an epic finale to Sunday’s race-day action.

To compliment the daily trackside action, four themed oasis areas will be packed full of activities. From autograph sessions, F1 simulators, majlis chill out zones, and hair and nail make-over stations to an area where you can learn about the UAE’s culture and heritage, the oasis will have it all. There’s even an opportunity to keep fit with Zumba, Yoga, Pilates and much more on Abu Dhabi Hill

Music acts including the rock/pop group The Boxtones, Irish singer/songwriter Gari Deegan, leading Dubai entertainer DJ Lou Lou, and the violinist Marta Osmanova, are sure to bring audiences to their feet. They will be joined by the musical performer DJ Andy Buchan, Leanna Kerry, DJ Lins, Tom Thum, and Richard Kennedy.

Complementing the musical performances are a host of street and stunt acts. The parkour zone provides an interactive challenge, while acrobats, street dancers, and a bartender show ensure there are activities for the whole family to enjoy.
