Songs are like fashion. One day they’re trending, and other days, they’re not. Songs stick around for a while before they’re gone and forgotten. However, the following songs and dance routines broke the standards. They became quite legendary and unforgettable with their catchy tunes and memorable choreography. Here are the songs and dance routines that stuck with us:

1- Macerena By Los Del Rio

Released in 1993, ‘Macerena’ by Los Del Rio was an instant hit. The song was everywhere from nightclubs to birthdays, and was also used in several movies. Even though we didn’t understand anything except the word “macerena”, but we loved the choreography. The song is still used till this day.

2- Crank That By Soulja Boy

Time flies fast, but this song apparently doesn’t. The hit song ‘Crack That’ by Soulja Boy was released in 2007. It became popular and widely recognized over the years; it was also used in the X-box game “Dance Central”.

3- Low By Flo Rida

We’re very sad to inform you that the song ‘Low’ isn’t by Ramez Galal. Joking aside, ‘Low’ by Flo Rida was one of the soundtracks of the movie “Step up 2: The streets”. The Song was a massive hit and it won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Hip-Hop Song. We knew the lyrics pretty well and danced to it all night long.

4- Party Rock Anthem By : LMFAO

Party Rock by LMFAO was the ultimate party anthem in 2011. We couldn’t get enough of it. The song was hypnotizing due to its amazing beats. Everyday, we were shuffling to this song.

5- Gangnam Style By Psy

It’s been 4 years since the release of pop single ‘Gangnam Style’ by the South Korean musician Psy, and the song is still relevant till today. Like Macerena, we didn’t understand a word, but we still nailed the dance like pros.

6- The Harlem Shake

‘The Harlem Shake’ is an odd choice due to the fact that the song is lyrics free, only beats. It doesn’t have a certain choreography, but it was famous for its quirky dance moves.

7- Watch Me Whip By Silento

We all know who he is. Silento’s ‘Watch Me Whip’ was released in 2015, and it’s still trending today. Playing this song in the club would turn the place up.The dance went viral on the internet. Now, everyone knows how to do the stanky legs, bob, whip and nae nae.

8- Hotline Bling

Drake’s Hotline Bling is the ideal track if you want to sob about your ex and dance at the same time. Once the song was released, the dance became legendary. The dance moves are easy to perform, so channeling your inner Drake won’t be a problem.

The power of songs and dance routines is directly related to their popularity. These songs become iconic and hard to forget.
