Getting married may be about solidifying your association with the love of your life – however, such a gigantic change can create problems in the greater part of your different connections. Life can get awkwardly hectic after marriage; you can get easily distracted with your stressful job, your attention-seeking wife, and your demanding kids amongst other things, so you start losing your lifetime friends along the way. But what can we simply do about it? The following are tips on how to stay connected and not fall out with the lads:

Arrange outings

You call all your high school or college best friends and get together for a fun reunion. Getting to hear from those you haven’t heard from for so long can be great; you’ll share all your experiences and talk about past events, or even go crazy and act like a bunch of 18 year olds again!

Make time for your friends

You got back together with them? Great, now make an effort and start organising frequent guys’ nights out. Go watch a game, talk politics, listen to old songs, do whatever you want, but start doing it.

Form an all-guy band

If you’re good at any musical instrument, it may be a great idea to call your friends who also know how to play and start jamming to your favourite songs, maybe learn a different genre and get indulged. Alternatively, try to pick up a new instrument; it’s always great to learn something new.

Play your favourite sport

Whether its soccer, tennis, squash, basketball or even golf, it will always be fun to get back on the field and laugh at how bad some of you have become. Going all out and scoring lots of goals, tripping while trying to dribble the ball or even just rubbing it in the other team’s face for losing will never get old.

Going on a vacation

You’re old now; you can do whatever you want, whenever you want. Pack your bags, call your buddies and pick something crazy to do. Whether you go on a safari in Africa or sightseeing in Italy, it will always be a joy to make new memories with your old friends. How about trying something totally new like a cruise? Rent a car and go on your own adventure; driving around the country with your buddies could be a great and memorable experience.

Sticking to one or more of the above routines may hopefully be an efficient way of restoring your past friendships and maintaining the ties with your best comrades.
