Everyone needs a quick tasty recipe to rescue them when their time is tight. This sausage pasta is one of easiest recipes anyone can cook. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • packet of 8 sausages, cut into chunky pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1tbsp chilly powder
  • 400g can chopped tomatoes
  • 300g short pasta such as fusilli or farfalle (just over half a 500g bag)
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese
  • You can also add some green and yellow pepper and some olives.

Directions:

1-Boil enough water to cook the pasta. Drain the pasta, and put it aside.

2-Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the sausage chunks on a fairly high heat until they are golden brown.

3-Turn the heat down and add the onion and garlic, cooking them until they have softened.

4-Stir in the chilly powder and tomatoes with the sausages, bring the sauce to the boil then turn the heat down and let it bubble for about 10 minutes.

5-Tip it into the frying pan with the sausage sauce, mixing well to coat.

6-Add the cheese and let it melt.

7-Dish up immediately with crusty bread.
