Arts-Mart The Gallery is proud to announce the unveiling of Egypt’s largest ever art show as well as The Gallery’s grandest exhibition and most exclusive to date, titled ‘The Cairo Art Fair’.Held from the 29th May until the 29th June, the exhibition provides a medium to physically walk through the contemporary Egyptian art scene.

The very first of its kind, ‘The Cairo Art Fair’ is set to be a one-stop destination for art enthusiasts worldwide, thanks to over 80 artists exhibiting their works of art in the awe-inspiring surroundings of Arts-Mart The Gallery. Arts-Mart Co-Founder, Lina Mowafy comments, “This exhibition is the result of many years of hard work. Our dream is to unite a variety of artists in one strong and dynamic exhibition in order to show off each one’s individuality. We are giving our audience access to a place to learn and discover everything they want to know about contemporary Egyptian art.”

Showcasing an assemblage of well-established masters of composition and the most promising up-and-coming talents, the gallery will be brimming with over 700 artworks, including paintings, sculptures and photography, that explore and encompass a plethora of contemporary themes ranging from traditional Egyptian life, typical to artists such as Ibrahim El Tanbouli, to the modern portrayal of the country’s heritage, typical to artists such as Omar Abdel Zaher and Mohamed El Sharkawy.

Since its inception in 2014, Arts-Mart The Gallery has showcased a variety of celebrated and established artists as well as unearthing a number of talented yet unrecognised artists. ‘The Cairo Art Fair’ is not only the gallery’s, but the country’s most noteworthy and inclusive show to date as it presents the public with an unrivalled opportunity to experience an amalgamation of different motifs and a varied portfolio of high-profile artists all at once.
