The 63rd edition of the world’s biggest music event took place last night, and WOW. We are still in shock from all the history-making moments, performances and wins. And out of all the virtual slash socially-distant award shows, this one is honestly our favorite. So in honor of that, here are the biggest highlights from the 2021 Grammys in case you missed them!

BEYONCE MAKES HISTORY

Yes folks, twenty eight Grammys is the total number of Beyoncé wins so far. This makes Mrs. Carter the woman with most Grammy awards in HISTORY. It doesn’t end here, Queen B is actually now short on only 4 more Grammys to make it as the most-awarded artist of all time. Putting into consideration, she didn’t even release an album this year, the greatest artist of our time ladies and gentlemen.

Taylor Swift: Album of the Year!

For the third time in her career, Swift took home the Best Album of The Year Award for Folklore. Swifty or not, you have to admit this artist went above and beyond these past two years and she honestly deserves this! She now joins Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon in breaking that record and she’s the only female who did it, too!

Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s Steamy Performance

Accepting awards, speeches and show lags could be the perfect atmosphere for a little snooze. But we bet no one was sleeping during that hot back to back performance by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. The mash up was literally performed on a giant bed, but it was more energetic than anything we’ve seen all night!

Lady Gaga Sleeping Through Her Award!

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande won best Duo for “Rain On Me” but Gaga was way past her bedtime in Italy and she didn’t even accept the award. But that’s fine, this little monster works hard all year. She deserves to rest up!

Harry Performs in ‘Styles’..

He wasn’t nominated in any of the big categories BUT, don’t feel sorry for him. He did make a groundbreaking opening performance. Believe us, we’ll be thirsting over that “watermelon sugar” delivery for days.

The night was obviously full of great other moments, but we just felt these are the most memorable ones. What’s your favorite 2021 Grammys moment?
